Brian Halligan
Brian Halligan CEO, Cofounder Read bio

Brian Halligan is co-founder and CEO of HubSpot. Prior to HubSpot, Brian was a Venture Partner at Longworth Ventures and VP of Sales at Groove Networks, which was acquired by Microsoft. Previously, Brian was a Senior VP of Sales at PTC.

He has co-authored two books, "Inbound Marketing: Get Found Using Google, Social Media, and Blogs" with Dharmesh Shah, and "Marketing Lessons From The Grateful Dead" with David Meerman Scott and Bill Walton. Recently, he's been writing about how to turn your startup into a scale-up.

He was named a Top-Rated CEO by Glassdoor in 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018. Brian was also listed by Comparably as one of the Top 5 Best CEOs of a Large Company in 2018, as well as one of the Top 5 Best CEOs for Women and for Diversity in 2018. He was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of the Year in 2011 and an Inc. Founders 40 in 2016.

Brian is a senior lecturer at MIT's Sloan School Of Management where he teaches Course 15.392 called "Scaling Entrepreneurial Ventures."

In 2017, Brian donated $1.6 million to the Southern Poverty Law Center for Jerry Garcia's guitar to support two things he cares deeply about: social justice and music. Around his hometown of Boston, his favorite charity is Camp Harbor View, serving over 1,000 youths from Boston's at-risk neighborhoods through summer camp on Boston Harbor.

He has a BSEE from the University Of Vermont and an MBA from MIT's Sloan School Of Management.

In his spare time, he practices his guitar, plays tennis, and follows the Red Sox.

JD Sherman
JD Sherman President, COO Read bio

JD Sherman is the President and Chief Operating Officer of HubSpot, where he sets company goals and aligns them across HubSpot.

Prior to HubSpot, JD spent six years as Akamai's Chief Financial Officer, where he was responsible for finance, strategic planning, and corporate development. During his tenure, Akamai grew from over $200 million to $1.2 billion in revenue, with over 2,000 employees globally, and was added to the S&P500 index. JD also served as the Chief Financial Executive of IBM's $21 billion Systems and Technology Group. During his 15-year career at IBM, JD held a number of senior executive positions in finance.

As Vice President of Finance and Planning for the zSeries Server Division, JD served as financial and business leader for IBM's $5 billion mainframe computer division. He was instrumental in the company’s pricing strategies and led a worldwide finance and sales operations team responsible for an $800 million expense budget. JD also served as CFO for CommQuest, which was acquired by IBM. He developed the post-acquisition business plan and led the integration of CommQuest into IBM.

He holds a BA in Economics from Emory University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Frank Auger
Frank Auger Chief Information Officer Read bio

He was co-founder of Zinio Systems, a San Francisco-based digital publishing technology company. John started his legal career at the Boston office of Mintz Levin, a national law firm.

John was a 2014 In-House Leader by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. He previously served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, based in San Diego, where his tours of duty included deployment to the Persian Gulf during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

When not in Cambridge, John spends time with his family on the South Shore, coaching youth soccer, surfing, mountain biking and generally trying not to hurt himself. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a JD, magna cum laude, from Boston College Law School.

Brad holds an MBA from MIT Sloan where he is an occasional guest lecturer. Brad also holds a BA in Computer Science from Amherst College.

Brad Coffey is the Chief Strategy Officer at HubSpot.  In the role, Brad directs the long-term strategy around HubSpot's products, packaging and pricing. Whitney Sorenson
Whitney Sorenson Chief Architect Read bio

Jeetu Mahtani is the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of International Operations at HubSpot, where he is responsible for driving HubSpot's growth around the world. Jeetu launched HubSpot's international operations and has grown HubSpot's customer base outside North America to over 2,000 customers.

Prior to HubSpot, Jeetu founded the search marketing and lead generation practice at a marketing agency in the Boston area and grew the business to one of the fastest growing marketing agencies in the region. As a former consultant in the SAP CRM space, Jeetu lived and worked in several countries including the US, Ireland, France, Hong Kong and India.

Alison Elworthy
Alison Elworthy VP, Customer Success Read bio

Alison Elworthy is the VP of Customer Success at HubSpot, where she is responsible for the vision and execution of customer service and support of HubSpot's global customer base.

Prior to her role as VP, Alison led various functions at HubSpot as Marketing Operations Manager, Sales Operations Senior Manager, Director of Operations, and VP of Operations and Chief of Staff. 

Alison serves on the board for the non-profit WEST. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids and is a food and wine enthusiast. She holds a BS in Human Factors Engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Alison Elworthy VP, Customer Success

Alison Elworthy is the VP of Customer Success at HubSpot, where she is responsible for the vision and execution of customer service and support of HubSpot's global customer base.

Prior to her role as VP, Alison led various functions at HubSpot as Marketing Operations Manager, Sales Operations Senior Manager, Director of Operations, and VP of Operations and Chief of Staff.
